DESCRIPTION:This course will take place over 2 evenings on zoom\nPart 1 – 19th November 6.30-9.30pm\nPart 2 – 26th November 6.30-9.30pm\nNB: your ticket purchase covers you for both evenings.\n\nThis course is for any woman who wishes to learn more about her own body and how to support its natural wisdom. We welcome women at all stages of life to join us\, it is never too early or too late to learn and to practice. \nTogether\, we will create a safe and nurturing women’s circle where you can learn from teachers with a great depth of experience. We also all learn from the richness of one another’s life experiences. \nThe course will include:\n\nThe anatomy and sex education you didn’t learn at school\nPractices from both ancient Tantric and Daoist teachings alongside the best of modern physiotherapy to support;\n\nyou developing a positive relationship where you can both feel and listen to the wisdom of your body\nyour lifelong health and well being\nincreased sexual and erotic pleasure.\n\n\n\nUnravelling the mysteries of our pelvic floor\nThe pelvic floor muscles are the base of the bowl formed by the pelvic girdle. As such they are integral in holding energy within the pelvis. Too weak and the energy drains away… too tense and there can be pain and restriction. They need both to be strong\, and able to relax completely\, to create a healthy balance. As part of this workshop we will guide you\, with breath\, and education\, to identify and improve your awareness of these muscles. This has so many benefits\, both for controlling bladder and bowels\, and for improved sexual energy\, the fire that can light up your entire being. \nYour teachers for this course\nClare Downie \nClare has over 20 years experience working as a pelvic health physiotherapist for the NHS. She is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a member of POGP (Pelvic\, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) Over the years she has supported women of all ages to learn more about their pelvic and sexual health\, so that they can be empowered to improve any troubling symptoms\, and feel more confident and comfortable in their bodies. \nPauline McCluskey \nPauline came to tantra from a career as a nurse\, teacher and facilitator\, familiar and comfortable with supporting people during major life changes and challenges. Alongside teaching with Shakti Tantra she is also a sexological bodyworker and psychosexual somatics practitioner. Pauline’s experience and wisdom means she creates an incredibly safe space within workshops.
