DESCRIPTION:This course will take place over 2 evenings on zoom\nPart 1 – 19th November 6.30-9.30pm\nPart 2 – 26th November 6.30-9.30pm\nNB: your ticket purchase covers you for both evenings.\n\nThis course is for any woman who wishes to learn more about her own body and how to support its natural wisdom. We welcome women at all stages of life to join us\, it is never too early or too late to learn and to practice. \nTogether\, we will create a safe and nurturing women’s circle where you can learn from teachers with a great depth of experience. We also all learn from the richness of one another’s life experiences. \nThe course will include:\n\nThe anatomy and sex education you didn’t learn at school\nPractices from both ancient Tantric and Daoist teachings alongside the best of modern physiotherapy to support;\n\nyou developing a positive relationship where you can both feel and listen to the wisdom of your body\nyour lifelong health and well being\nincreased sexual and erotic pleasure.\n\n\n\nUnravelling the mysteries of our pelvic floor\nThe pelvic floor muscles are the base of the bowl formed by the pelvic girdle. As such they are integral in holding energy within the pelvis. Too weak and the energy drains away… too tense and there can be pain and restriction. They need both to be strong\, and able to relax completely\, to create a healthy balance. As part of this workshop we will guide you\, with breath\, and education\, to identify and improve your awareness of these muscles. This has so many benefits\, both for controlling bladder and bowels\, and for improved sexual energy\, the fire that can light up your entire being. \nYour teachers for this course\nClare Downie \nClare has over 20 years experience working as a pelvic health physiotherapist for the NHS. She is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a member of POGP (Pelvic\, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) Over the years she has supported women of all ages to learn more about their pelvic and sexual health\, so that they can be empowered to improve any troubling symptoms\, and feel more confident and comfortable in their bodies. \nPauline McCluskey \nPauline came to tantra from a career as a nurse\, teacher and facilitator\, familiar and comfortable with supporting people during major life changes and challenges. Alongside teaching with Shakti Tantra she is also a sexological bodyworker and psychosexual somatics practitioner. Pauline’s experience and wisdom means she creates an incredibly safe space within workshops. She has a strong intuitive sense of how to support participants in exploring their sexuality from a place of confidence and joy. \nBeckyBecky brings this rich experience and wisdom into her teaching. DESCRIPTION:This day is for any woman who wishes to learn more about her own body and how to support its natural wisdom.  We welcome women at all stages of life to join us\, it is never too early or too late to learn and to practice. \nTogether\, we will create a safe and nurturing women’s circle where you can learn from teachers with a great depth of experience.  We also all learn from the richness of one another’s life experiences. \nThe day will include:\n\nThe anatomy and sex education you didn’t learn at school\nPractices from both ancient Tantric and Daoist teachings alongside the best of modern physiotherapy to support;\n\nyou developing a positive relationship where you can both feel and listen to the wisdom of your body\nyour lifelong health and well being\nincreased sexual and erotic pleasure.\n\n\n\nUnravelling the mysteries of our pelvic floor\nThe pelvic floor muscles are the base of the bowl formed by the pelvic girdle.  As such they are integral in holding energy within the pelvis.  Too weak and the energy drains away… too tense and there can be pain and restriction.  They need both to be strong\, and able to relax completely\, to create a healthy balance.  As part of this workshop we will guide you\, with breath\, and education\, to identify and improve your awareness of these muscles.  This has so many benefits\, both for controlling bladder and bowels\, and for improved sexual energy\, the fire that can light up your entire being. \nYour teachers for the day\nClare Downie \nClare has over 20 years experience working as a pelvic health physiotherapist for the NHS.  She is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a member of POGP (Pelvic\, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) Over the years she has supported women of all ages to learn more about their pelvic and sexual health\, so that they can be empowered to improve any troubling symptoms\, and feel more confident and comfortable in their bodies. \nPauline McCluskey \nPauline came to tantra from a career as a nurse\, teacher and facilitator\, familiar and comfortable with supporting people during major life changes and challenges. Alongside teaching with Shakti Tantra she is also a sexological bodyworker and psychosexual somatics practitioner. Pauline’s experience and wisdom means she creates an incredibly safe space within workshops. SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Self-pleasure
DESCRIPTION:Please note: this workshop is only open to those that have attended Shakti Tantra residential workshops.  If you are unsure please drop us an email before booking \nAn invitation to join us for the second of our seasonal self pleasure afternoons. \nWe are at the height of the year\, the sun is highest in the sky and days are longest.\nIn the Taoist understanding of the year\, since the winter solstice energy has been rising and expanding to this pinnacle on 20th June 2020 – the summer solstice.  On this day we will be at a turning point\, like at the top of the breath\, a pause\, a moment of stillness. \nIn the last few weeks we have entered the time of the fire element\, the substance for transformation\, flowers are becoming seeds and fruits are forming.  Fire is the element of the heart\, the place of our spirit. \nFor millennia humans have marked and celebrated this day. In the northern hemisphere the crops are all sown\, the flowers are in full bloom\, the harvest is yet to come. \nIn South America\, Inti Raymi honours the god Inti (the Sun) and is held at our summer solstice and their winter solstice. In the time of the Inca it was the most important festival of the year and is still celebrated today\, with music\, dancing and sharing of food. \nIn merry old England of the 16th century there was the Chester Midsummer Watch Parade where giants\, unicorns\, camels and 16 naked boys were part of the parade! \nSome practical information\nCost: You will see we have 3 ticket prices for this event.  It’s a new thing for us. We feel our own energy and excitement to offer this ritual\, it’s so important right now to raise our vibration and to lift our souls.  Yet we know\, for some\, this may be a financially challenging time and so we’ve created a sliding scale where you may pay what feels right. \nHow to prepare for the ritual \n\nPrepare your space\, making it warm and comfortable with a sumptuous nest and beautiful altar.  Bring something to your altar that represents your heart\, its longing\, its deepest desires\, its celebration of love…….\nBring fire\, either by candles or lighting a fire.\nBring oil\, lube\, coconut oil – whatever is your preference.\nDress up for your one true love\, the one that will never leave you\, the one that loves you the most.\n\nA note on how this will work on zoom \nWe will start all together on zoom. DESCRIPTION:Please note this workshop is postponed.  Please join our mailing list to stay in touch\nFollowing on from the Couples level 2 workshop where we explored the process of de-amouring\, this workshop now moves into deep and profound healing. \nIt is our experience that our wounding and armouring resides in the pelvic bowl.   Using techniques drawn from many tried and tested bodywork traditions we invite couples into the start of a healing process\, firstly with Shiva and the next retreat with Shakti.   The perfect balance\, the yin and yang\, the embodied understanding of the continuum of the masculine and feminine in all of us\, dropping deeper into that comfortable awareness. \nDuring this weekend we will delve into the the challenges that are faced every day by men in the world – do we look right\, do we ‘perform’ well\, must we conform\, are we allowed to be vulnerable? \nWe will support Shakti to witness\, to share\, to offer loving touch that is profound and healing\,  that continues the level two process of de-armouring and enlivening.   Integral to this process is the Shiva experience of vajra healing\, with his beloved Shakti in service\, providing the loving hands to support this letting go\, this awakening\, this extraordinary gift of beginning anew. \nThe intention is for Shiva to find new balance and energy\, in his being\, in his genitals\, in his life.\nFrom this place Shiva and Shakti will find a new level of deeper\, more meaningful connection – a new intimacy. \nBeckyBecky brings this rich experience and wisdom into her teaching.
