The closer the relationship\, the clearer is the mirror; the more distant the relationship\, the less clear is the mirror. \n\n– Osho \n  \n“The healthiest relationships are the honest ones\, the ones grounded in Presence\, not fantasy or false hope..ones that have a deep connection to a living truth” \n– Deva Raj. \nThe last few years have been a pretty insane\, \n\nYou may find your relationship has come under the spotlight.\nThe cracks may be more obvious.\nPerhaps your relationship is stuck in a rut\nAre you finding communication increasingly hard?\nHave you lost intimacy?\nAre you feeling you have lost your sense of self in your relationship?\n\nWe can offer an opportunity to address these issues with courage and honesty.\nShakti Tantra’s couples work draws from ancient and contemporary wisdom and practices. \nWe will support you to create your own sacred space to explore intimacy\, kindness\, sexuality and communication. \nWe feel truly honoured and privileged to be able to offer this work and our intent is to support you to acquire tools\, ideas and understandings that will make a positive difference to your everyday lives…. \nFirst and foremost\, we create a strong container for the work to allow you both to step out of the familiar\, take risks\, be vulnerable\, and the opportunity to experience and embody a different way of knowing yourself and connecting with your beloved. \nWe will listen\, support\, inspire\, challenge and encourage. \nWe invite both a feminine (Yin) and masculine (Yang) perspective and explore how we can celebrate differences rather than them being a potential battleground. \nAs part of each session\, we will all share our own struggles and successes\, invite you to experience more of yourselves and of each other and importantly\, be creative and have fun. \nThis short intro evening\, will give you a taste and feel of the Shakti Tantra school. \nFollowing the event there will be the opportunity to sign up to our indepth 8 week online programme (Dates tbc) \nPlease note:\n\nThe ticket price of £60 is per couple.\nShakti Tantra online events are live interactive workshops.  We do not record them.\nWe start fairly promptly at 6.30pm and like to close access to the meeting after a few minutes.  its part of creating a clear container for the work we do together.   If you think you might be late do let us know.\nDuring the evening there will be times we are all on screen together and you will be invited to turn your camera on.    At other times you’ll have the option to switch off your video\, if you’d like to do the exercises we’ll offer you in private.\n As this is an active workshop its recomended that you can be in a private space where you can feel comfortable and are able to move around and at times lie down.   Headphones are fine.  \nThere will be a  little break part way through the event\, to grab a cuppa.\n\n  \nJoin our mailing list and our Shakti Tantra Education Facebook Group to stay in touch \n  \nBeckyBecky brings this rich experience and wisdom into her teaching. Beginning to understand the chains that bind us\, the restrictions that we and others have placed upon us. Learning to walk from our hearts in joy\, freedom and love. \nFeedback from previous workshops: \n“These people know what they are doing! Thanks very much”\n“Fingertips touching\, hips rocking\, eyes touching my heart” \nThis workshop is an introduction to Tantra – either as a standalone event\, or as the entry point to joining our mixed programme. A delightful weekend for men and women (singles and couples)\, skilfully and lovingly taught. \nThe Gift Economy\nWe are excited to be offering this workshop as an experiment with the Gift Economy. It’s a first for us! This is what we mean and how it works. \nWe live in a society with much injustice. Many people do great work that contributes to the good of all yet receive widely differing financial recompense for this. Further\, our society has become increasingly focused on money\, where our interactions are mostly mediated by this system. \nWe’d like to loosen these ties\, and connect more to the idea of money as energy\, in flow. Some of us have more and some less… let’s give accordingly in the spirit of the Gift Economy. Charles Eisenstein has written much about this. \nOur tantric approach to life often asks us to notice deep inside what actually feels right for us\, what we actually truly desire. \nWe want to make our courses accessible to as many people as possible – As teachers we would like to be paid for the work we give\, and whatever comes in with this experiment that wouldn’t in any way reduce the level of support we offer in our workshops. Normally a 2 day workshop would cost £395 for tuition and £240 for food and accommodation. \nIn this experimental approach we ask for you to pay £240 covering your food and accommodation in advance to secure your place. \nEither before or after the workshop we invite you to feel into what you would like to contribute towards tuition. Feel what you can truly afford\, what the workshop is worth to you especially noticing the transformative effects of the workshop\, and how you feel about the time and effort put in by those making the workshop possible. \nWe will add that we already have a bursary fund where people contribute to make it possible for those with less money to attend our courses. If this experiment proves to bring in more money then we would have brought in via the usual tuition fees method we will give that extra to the bursary fund. \nPractical information\nThis course starts on a Friday evening with dinner at 7pm and finishes on a Sunday at 2pm (lunch is available after the course ends and you have the option of staying for lunch\, or taking on the road with you). \n\nAmazing food is provided by our in house chef and with an endless supply of teas & coffee\nOur venue is to be confirmed.  If you need to know this before your book just drop us an email and say you are interested.\nBefore signing up to this workshop we ask that you agree to abide by our ethos (includes our T&Cs).
